About Us

Mission


Formed in May 2003 as an informal organization of CyberKnife facilities and formally incorporated in April 2005, the CyberKnife Coalition, Inc. (CKC) is pending a non-profit recognition as a [501(c) 6] corporation of CyberKnife user institutions, dedicated to protecting patients’ access to this life-saving technology by working to ensure accurate and adequate reimbursement through educational, payer, and government advocacy.

Purpose


To promote patient access to CyberKnife technology and treatment, and realize reimbursement to support that treatment.

Activities


To assure and advocate that Stereotactic Radiosurgery using the CyberKnife technology continues to be reimbursed at appropriate levels from CMS and all payers. The CyberKnife Coalition is an independent clearinghouse for CyberKnife sites which leverages the expertise and experience of all sites to aid in resolving common issues:
