New CKC Member – Austin CyberKnife

Austin CyberKnife combines experienced physicians and the latest medical advances to provide patients with exceptional care. The Austin CyberKnife center opened in 2005 an was the first in the greater Austin area to offer CyberKnife treatment, giving our physicians the most experience treating patients with this technology in the region. Our neurosurgeon, Dr. Ronald Wilson, and physicist, Dr. Jim Hevezi, have extensive expertise in stereotactic radiosurgery treatment. Austin CyberKnife is a department of University Medical Center Brackerindge. The hospital is a member of the Seton Healthcare Family, which is a National Cancer Institute Community Cancer Centers Program site. The NCI Community Cancer Centers Program (NCCCP) is designed to create a community-based cancer center network to support cancer research and enhance access to and increase quality of care at community hospitals.
